Meatballs in Dijon Gravy

Simple ingredients, easy to make and so delicious. You won’t be disappointed!
Ingredients
- 500g ground beef
- 1/4 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground pepper
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground all spice
- 1 large egg
- 2 Tbsp milk
Dijon Gravy:
- 3 Tbsp salted butter
- 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tsp dijon mustard
Cooking Method
- In a large bowl, mix all the meatball ingredients until fully combined. You can knead it with your hands or mix it in a stand mixture with a dough hook attachment.
- Form balls with the meat mixture with your hands or a cookie scoop. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet. .
- Heat some oil in a TISSOLLI frying pan or pot. Brown the meatballs on all sides until the meatballs are cooked through. Remove from the saucepan and set aside.
- Melt the butter in your TISSOLLI pan. Whisk in the flour until medium brown. Pour in the broth and simmer until thickened. Add in the milk and mustard. Simmer until thick and creamy.
- Place the meatballs in the sauce and cook until the meatballs are heated through.
